Full Version: Soloving equatins with complex numbers?

Hi, as the title says, is there a program for the HP Prime that can solove equations with 1-10 variables A-J(for example) and complex numbers:

This is to be use for calculating AC current with node voltage and mesh current.

Example:
4*B+5*A*i(complex) = 0

B = 3

I know that there is a program for the HP 50G, but I have the HP Prime...

So I found this thread: http://www.hpmuseum.org/forum/thread-264...ht=complex
Is is right that this is not supported?
Would I have to get the HP 50G to solove these equations in any efficent time frame (as I have quite many of these equations to solove...)

thx for helping
Hello Vebb,

you can simply use the "solve" command in CAS.
Here an example. I stored the 2 equations in e1 and e2 because it is more readable but you can write them directly in the "solve".
Then you can simplify to have the answer in a+b*i form and approx (shift enter) to have the numerical value.
