From Home. on actual calculator
EDITMAT() seems to work with built-in Matrix variables like M1.
Try to use a user defined Matrix and you discover a BUG.

Locks up the calculator.
on Reset you find your user defined Matrix has disappeared.

It seems to be OK on Emulator
Hi Bob,

I couldn't reproduce this behaviour on my device as couldn't reproduce the other bug you mentioned about digits in program/function names ("V4L1DN4M3" is a valid name) [EDIT: could reproduce the latter].

It seems that something's odd with your device. Have you already tried a hard reset (Turn off, then press and hold [Templ]+[Power]+[Comma], then switch on, then release, finally -- in diagnostic mode -- select [9] Reset). Beware, you'll wipe your data (make a backup).

[EDIT #2]: Forget about it! First check if your current app is "Spreadsheet" and if your matrix' name collides with a cell's name (maybe it's similiar to this issue).

Is your firmware up to date?
Yes firmware it's up to date. Dec 03 2014 version.

Speadsheet is active but there is nothing in it.

I entered numeric data into M1 then Stored to my custom named variabe

i.e. M1>KoGo

I'll try everything again tomorrow.

Had to reset with a pin in the hole on back.
