Note to posters:

A workaround to the mangling of ftp addresses is to use a descriptive name for the ftp site and then enclose the name in the ftp site's URL.

For example:


The HP Prime FTP Site

Oh, the problem is that I was using Safari.
I use Windows Explorer and stuff shows up.
