I can't find an HP 50g ROM for any Emu48. Is the HP 49g ROM used for any emulation of the HP 50g? I have an Emu48 on my Android tablet. Will the included HP 50g emulator have the full functionality of a physical HP 50g? I haven't had the time to fully explore this, so I'm asking here.
The 49g+ and 50g have identical ROMs. The 49G ROM is the same, too, just without the ARM-related (Saturn+) patches. A 49g/50g ROM was made (by HP) by building a 49G ROM and patching it with a script after the fact.
So yes, you get full functionality in Emu48 with any unpatched 49/50 ROM. Since Emu48 doesn't emulate an ARM (and has limited Saturn+ emulation), it requires a ROM without the 49g+/50g patches anyway.
