I'm trying to learn how to program custom apps, but have run in to a problem.
On my G1 Prime, when I create a custom app, everything goes swimmingly - I can edit the PPL program it created in the Program Catalog, without problem.
On my G2 Prime however, the program created appears to be a CAS program - displayed as AppName:Main(CAS) at the top of the screen.
There are no #pragma or // commented BEGIN END prompts, etc. as were automatically created in the G1 PPL program. Any of the programming statements I normally use generate errors.
I'm not in CAS mode when I create these apps, so I'm wondering if there is a setting somewhere that causes this?
The details of my Primes are as follows:
G1
Software Version: 2.1.14425 (2020 01 16)
Hardware Version: A
CAS Version: 1.5 0
Serial Number: 4CY34205PC
Operating System: V0.050.640
G2
Software Version: 2.1.14730 (2023 04 13)
Hardware Version: D
CAS Version 1.5.0
Serial Number: 9CJ01500TK
Operating System: V2.060.650
