I recently purchased a very beat-up 42S and have been trying to restore it. I have replaced the LCD with a known-good screen from a 17BII. Replacing the LCD "fixed" two of the dead columns of pixels, but two remain. Does anyone have any experience or guidance regarding how to fix dead columns on 42S screen? Thanks.
