Just finished the refurb on my 97S and realized I don't have a case that fits it. The standard 97 case wont do - the interface module won't fit and it's sloppy to leave the case unzipped with it dangling outside. Does anyone know if it originally came with it's own special case?
I thought the 97S was the same as the later 97 case and internals. The only difference is that the cable had a connector on the 97 PCB and module cable came out the rear.

cheers

.. but at the end of that cable is huge interface module. And the cable does NOT disconnect form the 97. It is permanently mounted. You have to walk it around with 2 hands.
Oh ok, sorry, I get it, a carry case.

Getting old gets more fun by the day Smile

Evidently a carry case was never made for it. The above posts has pictures of how it was provided to customers.

If the link doesn't work a search for '97s box' should get you there.
