Curious as to if anyone knows if the CASIO fx-991CW will appear in the US market. I doubt that it is related to what is allowed in US schools as the fx-115S 2nd edition appears to have similar functions (much slower processor). Same question relates to the TI 30X Pro MathPrint which is virtually the same as the 36X Pro on a faster processor, but not directly available in the US market.
I hope both calculators do come to the States soon.
I notice some sellers from India are selling them on eBay now.

(I've attempted to buy one from Amazon.in previously, but never managed to log in using my usual Amazon credentials; it also wants an Indian cell-phone number and I do not have one!)
It's quite cool in a Hotblack Desiato kind of way but I did look at the picture and think "Why does the keyboard have the letter L printed next to each key?"
I notice that the CASIO 991CW has appeared on Amazon as a preorder with a release date of March 1. I preordered, and hope the calculator will be released as indicated!

Link please? I don't see a pre-order section...

Thanks!
Bruce
Odd, page does not come up in a search, my order record shows it being ordered, when I click on the calculator, it now shows out of stock. Perhaps there was a limit on preorders. I hope I get the calculator early in March!
I found 2 german version: fx-800DE CW and fx-810DE CW
https://www.heliosbuerotechnik.de/casio-fx-800de-cw
https://www.dynatech.de/casio-fx-800-de-...18209.html

It seems both above mentioned calculators have less functions (255, resp. 325) than fx-991CW ( approx. 540, I don't know exact value)
eBay has the 991cw. Personally I think the fx-JP900-N is the best option for a Casio scientific calculator. There are lots of sub models, but the Japanese version seems to have the most functionality.

If people are curious and want to explore different models. Just go to the Casio manuals download page and you can view all the scientific calculator models.

The fx-JP900-N is honestly better than the 991cw. Maybe the processor on the 991cw is a bit faster, but the 991cw is the same as the fx-991ex as far as features go. You have the coin flip simulator and dice roll, but nothing additional to actually useful functions. I’m sure that they will eventually make an updated CW edition for Japan, but I’ve not seen it on Casio Japan yet.
I prefer this, instead of the stripped-down International version...

How does the 880BTG compare to the JP900 as far as functions?
It seems that most of folks on the Internet recommend the 991-EX instead.
Just in case any one is thinking of getting a German version, ( got a 991fx DEX)
it stays in German, not like the fxcg50.
It also has an interesting item as it claims 696 functions. see photos of box attached

Yes, I have, really good, lots of functions, dozens of unit conversions, but no Periodic table and German ONLY Sad

Hello, could you share a link or - at least - a price for 991CW?! Thanks!

Csaba:
It shows as Out of Stock:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BSJ33C4R/

For the short time that it was as preorder the selling price was ~21 USD.

Cheers,

Paul

Thanks, it is possible to share a link of a webshop?
Do you have any info about the Vietnamese version? (CASIO fx-880BTG) Impossible to buy, because Vietnamese shops sells only inside Vietnam... (and this version has much functions like international CW - eg. periodic table)

Thanks,
Csaba

Online shop of Casio calculator Korea official importer. Also has 570CW if you interested. But I rarely believe international shipping could be done.
