I downloaded the CE-lk4 software from German Sharp site, a kit was going to cost me more than the calculator, went through old digital diary cables and found the cheapest looking one was the only one to work ( see wiring pictogram attached), used with cheap usb to rs232 adapter bought on amazon (Xiatiaosann USB to RS232 Adapter, USB 2.0 to Serial DB9 Cable 9 Pin Male Adapter with Chipset RS-232 Converter Cable Chipset, Windows 10 8 7, 2 PCS) out of stock but looked like all the cheaper ones ( 2 for 6.69 with two db9 sex changers; not needed). these come up as USB-SERIAL CH340 (COM 3) as default on win 10 and do the job.
