After struggling with the vector input bug for some time, I finally found a solution that fixes it.
1. Clear RPN stack
2. Clear VARS
3. Clear StatVars
4. GTO ..
The next step might be the only one required:
5. Go to EQN LIST TOP in the equation list (key EQN, press up/down until EQN LIST TOP displays on the bottom line)
6. Finally, turn off the calculator and back on.
