$300 sounds high to me, but sure enough, those currently listed on eBay are at least $300, but that doesn't mean folks are going to pay that much. Looking for completed and sold listings I find what the interface is really going for, $55.

the ebay listing you shared states "In good condition but untested".

This involves the risk running 55 bucks into the ground.

The listing also shows that the item sold in July. It was a "data point" used to establish a realistic selling price for the interface.
