Just finished my first app for the HP Prime. It is an adventure game based on The Valley for the Commodore PET which was a game listing provided in the April 1982 edition of Computing Today magazine.

The installable app, source code, back story, and instructions for play are in GitHub.

Feel free to take you own copy to extend and change as you like, and I’ll be interested to see anything that anyone does, however I don’t want to add any to my copy so that this version remains true to the original.

Please do let me know if you have any comments, questions, or suggestions for improving the code or the way it runs on the Prime.

Wow! I have to try this. I usually just use the prime for curve fitting/graphing but this looks important!

I loved the PET. My Uncle was a teacher and in the 70's got to bring one home during summer vacation. We would send hours typing in games. A sub-hunt game and a space invaders (memory is a bit vague but it tells me they were fantastic) nice green/black monochrome.
