This quick steps easy to remember use for [Tax-] and [Tax+]
[Tax-] is use to find the Price not include tax
[Tax+] is use to add tax
These Tax Calculations can be adapted by the use of the "Pricing Calculations"
function built in the HP 10BII or other calculators that have this Three Keys.
1. [MU] for Tax Rate
2. [CST] for Tax-
3. [PRC] for Tax+
Example Usage.
Tax Rate is 7%
Enter 7 [MU]
If price already included tax is 2354 what is the price not inclue Tax?
2354 [PRC] [CST] display answer 2200
If price is 1100 when add 7% Tax How much is the price include tax?
1100 [CST] [PRC] display answer 1177
Remark:
To find the Tax Amount simply use the [RCL] key
