Full Version: Emu48 Android and "show printer simulator"

I am using Emu48 with 50g emulation on my smartphone and have tried send output to the simulated printer.
The Calc seem to send data by IR, but the window "show printer simulator" shows no output.
What am I doing wrong?
Kindly explain the printer simulator, where it resides, and how it works. I've never heard of it. Is it used to print to a screen (printf function) like in C programming?

I suppose the printer simulator is embedded in Emu48 for Android, since there is a dedicate view in the app and the option to choose the printer type.
I could not find any printer simulator in Google Play.

Your 50g is most probably configured for USB printing. Go into Apps -> I/O -> Print and set it to infrared.

Thank you.
I had set only Transfer via IR, not printing.
Now it works like a charm!
