Full Version: backslash functions don't work anymore

Dave, the backslash functions don't seem to work anymore. For example \Sigma should give a sigma symbol (at least it used to when the new forum first started).
\[ \left( \sum_{k=1}^n a_k b_k \right)^2 \leq \left( \sum_{k=1}^n a_k^2 \right) \left( \sum_{k=1}^n b_k^2 \right) \]

Copied from one of Dave's test posts.
\[ \Sigma \]

Seems to work for me.

Keep in mind, all the tex stuff is javascript-based so if you turn that off, it will stop working.

Dave, thanks. Katie was right (in the other sub-forum), I forgot to surround the backslash Sigma with backslash ( and backslash ).
