I typed the following into the geometry symbolic view

GA point (0.,0.)
GB point (5.,0.)
GC isopolygon(GA,GB,7)

but i DONOT get a seven sided heptagon.

with the 7 replaced with a 5 or a 6 it draws the correct object.

I am using the commands wrong or is this a bug?

Which version of the Prime are you using?

For me it works fine on my Prime G1, Hardware version C, Software version 2.1.14425 as well on the Windows Virtual Prime same SW version and the Android Prime Pro version 2.1.14346.

Hi, I am using the latest version of the prime software but i have found out my problem is that I had the angle mode set to degrees.

With angle set to radians all is good and any N sided polygon. Set angle to degrees and the 3,4,5,6 sided objects are ok that strange things happen beyond 6.

I dont see any documentation saying that you must use radians but setting that has fixed my problem.

thanks for your reply, Barry

Piotr (“komame”, here) added a ticket for this to the bug tracker I’ve set up to help organize development (thanks, Piotr!) and… the bug got fixed Big Grin (thanks, Prof. Parisse!).
