Hi,
Does anybody use the V41 emulator, version 9D, and has the HEPAX.MOD module installed on virtual machine?
When I "plug" the module, the emulator will turn on, but after the first OFF, it won't get on again. So, I have to close the window (it is installed on a Windows 7 Pro machine, SP 1) to get it working up I turn it off.
Any help, please?
Artur
There's a known issue with the HEPAX initialization support on V41. Try plugging it in an odd-numbered page, ie. 9, B, D, F - which can be done by plugging another 4k-ROM module before it.
Hello, Angel!
I removed the HEPAX and added the Adv Application Module (something about electric engineering) and added again the HEPAX.
The list is:
HP-41CX Operating System
Advantage Application ROM
Standard HEPAX Module.
But the problem persists.
Interesting note that the help of V41 says:
--------------------------------------
RELEASE 8C (5/27/2010)
--------------------------------------
- Fixed a problem with POWOFF reseting banks - caused problems with HEPAX
- Updated MOD files
I'm using the 9D version.
Many thanks!
Artur
I'm seeing the same problem on rev 9D, I tried several versions of the HEPAX module but all have the same issue.
As a work-around you can open the "Edit Configuration" screen, click OK and turn the emulator "ON" - that should bring it back to life if the HEPAX is plugged on an odd page (not even, as I incorrectly said before)/ This remais stable as long as you don;t switch it off (i.e. exit V41 with the machine ON).
OK, I'll try as you said!
Many thanks!
Artur
