Just upgraded my hp connectivity kit on my Mac to 2.1.14425 (2020 1 16) and am finding the program editor text unreadable. My Mac uses dark mode.

Hi,
its not what you were hoping for I'm sure, but you can turn off dark mode just for this app by adding
<key>NSRequiresAquaSystemAppearance</key>
<string>true</string>
into the /Applications/HP Connectivity Kit.app/Contents/Info.plist file.
I did manage to affect some of the colours by launching the app with -stylesheet option and finding some online qt5 dark mode themes. Nothing that changed the editor colours though, I guess these may be hardwired (but I'm no Qt expert).
