These units use the same battery pack:HP97, HP91, HP92, HP95C, HP82143A / HP82182A Printers, and HP83261A .
Can someone verify if there is any commonality in battery doors among these?

I am assuming that you mean: HP-91, HP-92, HP-95C, HP-97, HP-97S, HP-82143A, HP-82161A & HP-82162A.
I just tested it, although the color is different between the Topcat series and the printers, the battery door is compatible between all specified models.

PS: lucky you if you have a HP-95C, which I do not, so for that model I am assuming that it will fit. (btw, there is a member of this forum who has one)

I was pleased to recently find that not only is the entire door compatible, but on my HP 92, one of the door tabs broke, and even the door tabs can (carefully!) be removed from one door and put on another of the opposite color, e.g. from a more recent Printer or Tapedrive.
