Emu42 v1.25 is a maintenance update available at http://hp.giesselink.com.
After Emu71/Win and Emu28 in the last weeks, Emu42 is the 3rd release with annunciator update speed fix. The improvement affects only the High End Pioneers and the Clamshell calculators. The annunciator update of the Low - and Mid- Range Pioneers isn't affected because there the annunciator update implementation is different.
Like Emu28 v1.34, Emu42 v1.25 don't support the ROM BEEP patch any more. The prior version generated a KML script warning when a ROM BEEP patch was detected, the actual version generate a KML script error.
Same words to the installer version like for Emu71/Win. The installers until v1.24 suggested to create the program links in the startmenu under HP-Emulators/Emu42. The Windows 10 shell don't support nested directories in the startmenu any more, so the links are created under HP-Emulators when your are following the suggestion. This may create conflicts with my other emulators. The installer since v1.25 suggest the program links in the Startmenu directly under the Emu42 folder to avoid the conflicts.
