I installed the metakernel on emulated 48gx (pc as well as on android) - https://www.hpcalc.org/details/213 .
The instructions told me that it was 2.30. However, the splash svreen tells otherwise: 2.29.

Why?

Assuming you are willing to purchase a copy, you can probably still buy one from Samson Cables. I don't see it listed now, but I know they've sold them in the past (I have one) so suggest you contact them to ask if they're still available.
