Intitially I noticed the problem on a relatively large program (breakout). I was writing a little program and a couple times as the calculator sat it frooze, accepted not input and I had to do a on-symb to bring it back to life. although this is a small program I will bet it is related to the slow scroll issue
Unfortunately the latest release introduced some new issues and while the battery one was quickly fixed, I'm concerned this one may look less urgent, meaning you may have to live with that for the next 6 months or more. Hopefully it gets fixed before that.
This being said, the latest release was pretty good, introducing a number of improvements which I really appreciated (number formatting, 2 fingers zoom, much better geometry app).
