So this is how the problem should look and the answer as well: https://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=so...%2Cy%5D%29

When I type this into the Prime though, I get nothing. Just the dreaded [[]].

Trying to graph the two equations gives the yellow exclamation mark before going into the graphing screen with nothing on it.

Change your plot setting to this:

and you should get this:

-road
And if you modify your second equation slightly you get:

I'm not sure why your original form doesn't work.

-road
Have a value stored for x or y?
Thanks roadrunner! Hopefully this is not a bug.

Yeah, I don't have a value stored either.
Indeed, bug confirmed and fixed.
This is more difficult. We're dealing with big numbers.
Others tried to solve this case before me.
I've also tried to solve this system of equations. I did it by looking for an approximation (lower boundary, upper boundary). See it in the screenshots. HP PRIME is a very powerful calculator. It solves almost every equation, inequality, equation system. But if there are problems, the outstanding Parisse will fix it quickly.

If only we could have the full power of χCas in the HP Prime. Separating the (external) libraries that contain ©opyright or other issues(*) so that a note powerful HP Prime would be available. Also the bug fixes would be more universal thus requiring less version maintaining efford.
