I took my old HP97 out of storage to find that the printer doesn’t work (display flashes gibberish) and the “0” key is non responsive.
Is anyone repairing these?

Might be worth a quick look inside.
Common problems:
Flat/faulty/leaky battery (should read about 5V, recharge/replace)
Dirty battery contacts (clean)
Moisture inside the calculator (blow dry/clean)
Dirt/Oxidation on the inter PCB contacts (clean)
Corrosion build up on circuit boards (clean)
