I haven't been able to accomplish this from reading the GX manual. Can someone give a button push by button push sequence for doing this?

First go the I/O menu (leftshift I/O), then press the menu key IOPAR.
The IOPAR contents will be shown across the display.
If IR/Wire already states "IR" you're done in this menu,
else press menu key labelled "IR" once.
Then go to the Print menu (leftshift I/O , then Print menu button), then press the PRTPAR menu button.
The PRTPAR contents will be shown across the display.
Press the "OLDPRT" menu button once.
This will remap the charset from the 82240B to the A version.
Done.
