Is it possible to define a special area covering the blue section of each key and assume that clicking this area means you already pressed Shift before?

The 34s does it with the green keys and I found it was a (actually one of the many) very good idea.

That actually doesn't test well for non-power users. They get confused why the key they clicked isn't doing what it says. However, you can already right click the mouse as a shift. Very quick.
