I recently got this LOG PAC module with calculator … is a manual out there for it? Catalog shows it as LOGGING PAC. …

I have the manual, is the LOG PAC listing(s) available?

I have the module around somewhere and there is a copy of the manual around online.

Many people think that this is for oil well logging but it is for logging trees in forests. Things like calculating timber amounts and setting up skylines for dragging cut trees out.

Is it these ROMs ?

Answer: not the PAPZ ROM, just tested it on my 41CLv5 and it does not match the CAT 2 listing, I should have tested it before posting

If someone needs it to make a copy let me know or I would be willing to trade it for something interesting.

Afraid they aren't the same, I put together the PAPZ image from diverse papers available on the usual web places and then a few unusual ones. Still haven't got around to do the QRG, on the to-do list for this weekend. Some of the subjects seems related, like skidding et al but I haven't done any correlation.

This LOG PAC seems to be yet another one with similar name, also different from the LOGANA images. To my knowledge it hasn't been contributed so far...

Thanks for sharing it, now we only need the ROM ;-)

Guess I wasn't clear. I do have the Rom, the manual isn't mine, I just found it online. I am willing to loan it out for you to make a copy or if you want the Rom I would consider a trade.

I am mailing the module out to the Monte tomorrow for him to make a copy so it should be available to everyone in a couple of weeks.

The module that this Log Pac (forestry logging) is often mistaken for, a oil well logging program is on sale on TAS HERE in case anyone is interested. Not my auction and I wont be bidding on it.

I had likewise seen the auction earlier and wondered if this LOG ANALYSIS were the same as LOG PAC which you mention. I think not and I don’t see this one in the online database. Not sure if it’s in the 41CL flash either and no PC handy to check the memory PDF. Can somebody look?

There's this in the 41CL mem_ref_v5.pdf:


Edit: It shows up in a CAT 2 listing as "PDC LOG 1"

Global labels in the ROM include NDS, RWA, TVD, CS1, TVX, TN1, WID, TTL, SSZ, NXC, PAR, DTA, RST, BAR, F23, F22, RUN, STS, SIZ, P/S, UNT, SVF, STF, Y/N, IN%, IN1, OT%, OT1, WRK, ERR, CLN, RTF, M-F, C-F, PHD, PHS, PPM, AS1.

Edit 2: Going on the photos on TAS I would say that this Log Analysis module and the "LOGA" image in the 41CL flash image are one and the same.
