I do not recommend using ICON because there is now direct support for PNG and JPG files. It is outdated and was mainly used to import sprites (small pictures). The link above also references a zip file that has a utility for creating the data after the ICON command. Once you see the huge data, though, you will likely agree that ICON is not so useful these days due to the inflated size of your programs (the data is ASCII representation of the hex data).
