I want to write programs which starts at same time on two units. Is it available any proven method how is it possible via infrared?

A possible solution is to set the clocks to the exact same time (as close as possible) and then use an alarm on both machines to start execution of the program simultaneously. It may not be 100% exact but at least you only have to do the synchronization (of the clocks) one time, and can then casually run the programs via alarm.
