When I go the function app, I click the cosine button but it pops up without the parentheses. I'm in RPN mode but this shouldn't happen because I'm typing between quotes. However, if I clear the cosine and type again it appears with parentheses.

Try to tap in function line before clicking COS key.

Yes, that works but kind of tedious still.
