Do you mean the gear icon that says "My library / Help / Advanced Search" in which the help says to click somewhere on the far left? The one to the far right of "Books"?
I haven't discovered where on the far left it means yet.
According to the help, there should be an eBook somewhere - either Free or Buy. But where?
Or the gear icon above it (at the top of the screen, to the far right of "Search" ) which does nothing?

The Url gives me Error 403 (No permission), which might explain why I don't see that Download pdf choice.

Code:

403. That’s an error.

Your client does not have permission to get URL /books/content?req=AKW5Qafz_DQAwd8rPNvh8AbwYDrRcGUK8GDcGa6CEx1LbeQ3O-XXrmIxGO3ahHDBam6Thv13VZpSe4T7-zI6p1vJizUJERNqLUdM5KxQNfPDit8-3oSNKpzpX5R8EBLHto3-Z7tvWPKKc_zQrbsX8q4pSIijuyhKE6MGxcExMxuqgNihAHdpLBgBu-3okdI91bqfg9Xo9-hSPOqmTtgPvo8qV_ejHVZjF-qAXR6hFj8jT8c-Ci0dlIlz8m93JyCyYy3xzYs-Vu76wJfFDu4PvJRrqMpaIMUy-HHyjnUrhtxsmqRcQhCPuss from this server. That’s all we know.
"That's all [they] know" - (it's a pity they don't know the secret to unlocking the permissions)

This error code is not uncommon & one of the reasons I hesitate to provide secondary links embedded within the primary URL as a menu, etc. Many web sites time the requested download link with an expiry, sorry. Perhaps another member will download the 'google' based PDF to a public repository with their account info / link?
