12C date function will give result of

Month,Day,Year and Day of the week.
Assume that this is on M,DY mode.

To quickly see what is the specific day of the week
from your desire month, day and year follow this
simple steps.

Example:

What is the day of the week on this new year 2019?

1.012019 [ENTER] 0 g [DATE]

Result Display: 1,01,2019 2

The last digit is 2 so this New Year will be on Tuesday.

1 Monday
2 Tuesday
3 Wednesday
.
.
.
7 Sunday

This is indicated clearly in the manual.

That’s what I do:

11.111987 ENTER 1 DATE —> 12.11.1987 4 (or 11.12.1987 4, depending on your setting)

It shows the next day, but the day of the week is correct, at least in Portuguese:-)

1: Domingo (Sunday)
2: 2ª (Monday)
3: 3ª (Tuesday)
4: 4ª (Wednesday)
5: 5ª (Thursday)
6: 6ª (Friday)
7: Sábado (Saturday)
