Full Version: 41CX Battery Corrosion

I rediscovered my old rechargeable 41CX yeah, but the rechargeable battery and the contacts are severely corroded (boo). Any suggestions on how or where to get it repaired? I live in houston and realize most likely will have to ship but need a reputable place.

And another yeah, I just found an old 41 CV that appeears in great shappe, Need to order batteries so we will see if the $4.50 fix works on this one.

The rechargeable battery can be rebuild with new cells, which is not THAT hard - i did it here, for example:

If the foil contacts inside the calculator are corroded too, there are replaceable foils for that here:

Alternatively the contacts can be fixed to a working state with a bit of wire.
