In the new version of the android pro app version 1.4.0 on the play store.
In the advanced graphing application none of the graphs in the plot gallery work properly anymore.

My phone is an S7Edge.

Just thought I would let you know
You were quicker than me, I just wanted to report this, too. Smile

The Plot Gallery of the Advanced Graphing app worked in the previous version 1.3.2 with firmware 11586. In one earlier version (don't remember which), they were broken, like now. So it is a bug that seems to have been fixed and broken again. Please see some examples attached.

Some details: Both paid "Pro" version 1.4.0 / 13333, and freshly installed Free version 1.4.0 / 13333. Tested on Google Pixel with Android 8.1.0. When you hit the "Save" button to make some of the example graphs a separate app entry, same result. On some other platforms (Windows 10 with emulator) everything works well there.

When you flick through the gallery, the app freezes when changing from graph example 20 to 21. After that you have to close the app via the Android OS. After launching it again, it "un-freezes" and you can go to the Home view or other apps in the HP Prime.

My simple example plots in "Advanced Graphing" have all worked without issues. Luckily this is a very minor issue.

Hm, I don't know if I did everything correctly, but I opened Advanced Graphing, went to plot, looked at the gallery selected one of the plots, made a new app, started that and did not find an issue. Version is 13333.

This seems to be an issue with compiler/device interactions. Previously, we dropped back to a lower compiler level and that seemed to correct it (in the version you cited that worked fine before). We've since updated to later versions and everything appeared to be fine on all devices tested including the specified pixel device you cite. So no we are trying to track down why that might be different once its coming through the store instead of a direct install from our build server output...
Just tried the same version of the android app from the store on my Intel Atom based tablet rather than the arm Exynos S7Edge and it works fine on the Intel Atom.

Yes, it would have only appeared in ARM. Glad at least 1 person is using it on an x86 android at least! Thanks for the confirmation.

I've tracked it down to a default optimization behavior in the ARM build only. I've disabled the optimizations in that source file and everything looks good now.
Works in iOS version.

Tim, will you be issuing an update to the andriod versions? I'm still having a lot of crashes in my Samsung Galaxy S5.
There are new files sitting in the store queues. Hopefully, that will address your issue.
Just received an update with firmware 13443. The DIMGROB insufficient memory issue seems to be fixed now and the Advanced Graphing app with the plot gallery is working as expected, also on my Google Pixel. Thank you for the quick fix!
Great! Glad to see it seems corrected and got approved quickly as well.
