HP-70 notes:
  • DSP # was used to set FIXed mode and the number of digits. DSP . set a SCIentific mode that was similar to STD mode in other calculators in that there was no specification of the number of digits and trailing zeros were suppressed.
  • The HP-70 had two registers labeled M and K that were recalled by pressing their keys (there was no RCL key.) It provided storage addition to the M register but not the K register
