Shanghai Museum

As in many museums, the lighting and the glass cases made photography difficult here so I took only a few shots where the light looked good. There's far more to be seen in this museum than shown here.

An ancient wine vessel.

More wine vessels in somewhat more modern shapes.

A really big wine vessel. (A few gallons.)

A water vessel filled with aquatic life.

A bell.

A food vessel.

A buddha statue.

Another buddha statue. This Buddha, Sakyamuni, was born with one hand facing the heavens and one had facing the earth. This indicated that he was the most important Buddha of all.

I can't remember who this is...

These two characters are from dreams.
