Majority of career spent in France, Middle East, and South East Asia. (35 years in all).

Early career with MOD UK, Cable & Wireless (Long distance HF transmission, tropospheric scatter installs, and standard A earth stations installs)

Last 20 years in manufacturing plant and energy efficiency roles. Currently energy consultant with Johnson Controls UK, responsible for the energy management of Cobham plc. (14 Space and Defence manufacturing and research plants in the UK.)

Old HP calculator fan, until recently lapsed..!! Returned to the fold with the purchase of a HP50G. Past ownership HP35, HP 41CX.

Music interests: ZZ Top, Jethro Tull, Queen, CCR, and some old Motown stuff..

Married to Esther, have three kids Edward, Sarah and Michael.
