I was born in 1966 and in 1994 I graduated in electronic engineering.

I'm employeed in a household appliances company as Portfolio Project Manager and Performance Analysis for the Electronic Development Division. I'm married with Gemma (the exact translation of the English "gem":-) since 2000 and we've a son named Luca, who was born on April 2004.

My love for HPs dates back to my teens, thanks to a teacher in the high school which enlightened me on the superior quality of the construction of an HP computer, especially as far as the EMC issues were concerned. My collecting passion started with a HP48GX (bought in '99), my very first HP calc, which I could afford only after being hired by my present company (HP prices were un- approachable for me - a student coming from a humble family). Then I put together a 41CX, a 33E, a 35, a 45, a 15C, and other calcs, all used (except for the 48GX, 49G+ and the 50G) but working and decent in aesthetics.

My other hobbies are:

> photography (I own a Yashica FX3, a Yashica FXD Quartz, a Contax 167MT, a Yashica G-MAT 6x6 and some lenses - from 28 to 210 mm)

> books (I love mathematics and all the books about ciphers, codes and prime numbers)

> music (I'm a fanatic of Led Zeppelin and some Italian rockers)

> motorcycling (I've got a Yamaha XTZ 750).

I live in a small town (Montemarciano) near Ancona, in the center of Italy, on the shore of Adriatic sea (I can see the seaside every morning when I open the windows), but my workplace is about 65 km away from home, so I'm a real commuter.
