Vintage 1935. Therefore, obviously 'brought up' on slide rules, which I collect, specialty: Aristos, I have 70+ different models of those.

I'm a retired architect with many, many interests.

I quickly became fascinated with calculators as soon as they were marketed, first several Cambridge models and then the HP41, HP41CX and HP48SX as they came out.

The 48SX has been a great help in my investigations into certain aspects of complex numbers (one of my particular fascinations!), to confirm or disprove my conclusions.
