I wonder how many did!

Almost a personalized serial number. I will tolerate no mistake next time :-)

I have (sadly) picked up "several" s/h 50's on ebay recently, all in A1+ condition for not a lot of money at all

What has been the pattern (in the USA and elsewhere, including Brazil) when HP has reduced prices near the end of life of a calculator? Did they reduce the price once and leave it at that? Were there multiple price reductions? And for how long, typically, did this continue before HP quit selling the calculator?
