42S display problem
Message #1 Posted by Jeff on 7 Mar 2003, 4:11 p.m.

Here is a good one: My 42S decided to scroll the display to the left. The x: and y: and the first digit of the number displayed are cut off, as if hidden under the left edge of the calculator. Instead of x:3.14159 I get .14159

I know the actual value is being processed correctly because the calculations work, its just that the left most digit is stripped off.

Any thoughts. Is this something that can be fixed?

Has the entire display indeed scrolled left (weird!), or is it just that the leftmost character columns are blanked out (not unheard of)?
