HP-70 Original Case Types
Are there any original HP-70 purchasers here who can say for certain what type of soft and hard/plastic case the HP-70 came with when new?

I've seen lots of comments claiming lots of things, so I'm really interested to hear from someone that actually bought one and can say for certain.

Listings on eBay have been shown with just about every kind of case HP has ever made, seemingly in an effort to raise prices even higher.

I'm fairly sure they came with the brown/black pebbled finish zippered case, but am curious which type of hard/plastic case was included.

RE: HP-70 Original Case Types
I have an HP-70 sales brochure that shows the “camera case” (my name) similar to the Woodstock series. However, it is more of a darker green-black color as shown in the attached brochure (that I need to get good scans of) to the museum. I believe the HP-70 was when this case style debuted.

This also matches the case that came with the HP-70 I recently overpaid for. Although I should caution that the brochures aren’t always accurate—most of my brochures that show the HP-67 show the “kangaroo case” like the HP-65, but I seem to recall that even at the time I only saw ones with the “camera case” style case (including extra pocket for QRG and cards) that the HP-70 appears not to have, as it appears to have neither: “Scrooge” indeed!-kby

my HP70 has a a soft case like the 35's one, but I'm not sure it is the original, I've already seen the brochure and falso for that reason I'm not so sure.
