RE: European Meeting
I prefer Allschwil for obvious reason, however, Frankfurt would be fine, too. What about sometimes in September/October 2014?

RE: European Meeting
Hello!

Frankfurt and Allschwil are about equal distance for me, so both are OK. Accomadation and food are a lot less expensive in Germany than in Switzeland, so maybe I would prefer Frankfurt... Regarding the date, the month of May would be ideal for me, as "my" aeroplane will be away for scheduled maintenace the whole month and I have to take some kind of forced holiday.

Regards
Max

RE: European Meeting
Frankfurt is easier - can't beat the transportation from/to. On the other hand logistics and hosting may not be so simple?

Intriguing perspective although I didn't know the DomRep belongs to Europe. But there may be some French or English islands right around the corner there.

Can be answered easily by simple analogy: Is an US American meeting ... Wink This example carries sufficient statistics at least.

I'll be very happy to join you all here... just be warned: too many distractions to focus on calculators!! :-)

The positive counterpart: after publishing the pictures of such 'hypothetical" meeting, the number of people interested in joining the "HP club" will rise exponentially. :-o

Cheers from Caribbean Sea.

Diego.

RE: European Meeting
I'm interested too; never attended a HPC meeting before. Especially Basel area (Allschwil) would be very close to me. But in autumn I could manage Frankfurt area too.

Keep us informed.
