New HP Prime not recognised by Mac Connectivity Kit
I'm having a problem with my new HP Prime not being recognised by the Connectivity Kit.

I'm running HP Connectivity Kit build 2018 2 12 Rev 13443 on Mac OS 10.11.6 (El Capitan). This recognises my old (first generation) Prime as soon as it is plugged into the USB port. The new Prime (G2 in the circle on the back) isn't recognised at all.

However, it charges and System Information gives:
Quote:HP Prime:

Product ID: 0x2441
Vendor ID: 0x03f0 (Hewlett Packard)
Version: 48.50
Speed: Up to 480 Mb/sec
Manufacturer: HP Prime
Location ID: 0x24100000 / 2
Current Available (mA): 1000
Current Required (mA): 200
Extra Operating Current (mA): 0

so it isn't the cable or the socket being a bit finicky.

Any suggestions?

You should try with the latest version of the connectivity kit (2018 07 06) from here.

Hence why it was released when it was. Smile

Did you just run check for update? Or is that blocked for some reason on your end?

RE: New HP Prime not recognised by Mac Connectivity Kit
The direct FTP link took me two or three goes before it succeeded - not sure why - my ISP probably. So the Connectivity Kit may have tried and failed to find an update when I first ran it that day.

And I hadn't run it for weeks, if not months, before then - so it only had that one chance to look for an update before I was trying it on the new model.
