It was suggested to me that you all might be interested.

A friend of mine recently passed away and his wife put me in charge of selling his old computer stuff. Problem is I have no idea what it's worth. The machine relevant here is the HP 85 with owners manual, 4 linking cables, 7 cassettes, and 4 expansion modules.

Let me know if you have any idea how much this stuff is worth or if you are interested in buying it. And please don't lowball me. All the proceeds are going to a memorial fund.

The working conditions of the tape reader, printer, and keyboard are very important in assessing a price. I would say $1K for the whole thing, assuming everything functions.
