The HP-71 FORTH/Assembler, FORTH/41 Emulator, and Diagnostic ROMs cannot be copied to EPROM as they all use fixed-address ROMs.

I don't know exactly how the hard-coded portion is programmed into the EPROM, but I would think it would be something that could be duplicated.

MikeSD is working on reverse-engineering the CMT-71-P01 so it may be possible in the near future.
