Got it! I was able to get it out of 'tablet mode' and have a 'more regular' desktop. And the Free42 shortcut was already there!

The realistic skin does not look quite right - the bottom row of keys are cut off; but using the other skin and goinb back to realistic and the skin looks ok.

It would be nice to have the 42 cover more / all of the screen!

What they're showing in the video at https://www.indiegogo.com/esi/en/project...aptop--2#/ looks like standard Windows 10. If so, you should be able to put shortcuts on the desktop, or pin applications to the task bar. N.B. You can make the start menu (the metro-type screen) pop down by pressing Esc or the Start menu button. If the task bar is hidden, you should be able to make it appear by moving the mouse cursor to the bottom of the screen.
