"Hewlett Packard" not on the front of HP12c Platinum

"Hewlett Packard" not on the front of HP12c Platinum
I have a HP12c Platinum purchased from Amazon about a year ago. On the back it says "71025 Boeblingen Germany" and "made in Philippines". What is strange is that it does not have "Hewlett Packard" in the lower front of the calculator. I just wondered why?
