My current fleet consists of:

HP-55 Thrift Shop find.
HP-67 ebay purchase non-working. Now fully restored.
HP-67 ebay purchase non-working. Cannibalized for parts. Still hope of restoration.
HP-41CV With Card Reader, X-Functions, Time, and Advantage Modules.
HP-15C My first RPN Calculator purchased while in college in the 1980's.
HP-16C Also purchased while in college in the 1980's.
HP-32S
HP-32SII
HP-48G I bought this to try an RPL Machine but I just like the RPN that I grew up with...
HP-33C Provided by the company that I work for. Mostly sits on a shelf without batteries.
HP-35C Given to me as a gift. I even tried to like it...

DM-42 This is my daily driver. But I keep the 41-CV on my desk, too, for the Nerd factor.

Wow, bold to admit you have one of these; most folks that have one simply don't mention it. ;-)

But this machine is interesting to me, not because of what it has/does, but more because all of the key decisions about it's feature set seemed to be about what NOT to include, with HP clearly struggling to make it fit between the -10B and the -17B. Relative to the 10 and 17 feature sets, it seems -11 or -12 would have been better choices but those model numbers had famous and successful predecessors, which left them with -13, and likely the marketing folks simply said NO to that.

And that's how HP-14B was selected... at least that's my theory.

Whenever I try to add two numbers on the 14B, say 3+4, I invariably press 3 INPUT 4 + and get "3.00+" as a result. That's when I usually notice the "=" key...

Since then I've also managed to get my hands on a TI-92 II, so I now have all 4 in that family (don't forget the Voyage 200).

I also have a TI-89 and a couple of TI-89 Titaniums, both grey and black.

I did not know the 50G came in blue. I have at least to of the black 50g and maybe two 49G+.

Indeed it did. It was sold mainly in Spain if memory serves. I have a couple of those in my collection.

As a student I can't afford to buy me that many calculators, although I really love that HP's, it's the well know obsession ;-) So I've got two HP's: an '25, which i got from my uncle, and a 35s, wich I bought a year ago...

That's an excellent start. You got one of the best from the „old“ days (actually my favortie among the HP calculators) and a real good one from recent times. Sooner or later other HPs will cross your way, just keep your eyes open. And tell friends and family members that you collect calculators - you will be surprised how many people still have calculators in their drawers which they didn't use in 30 years and were about to throw away!
