HP41C-HP41CX - Neve - 09-23-2017 07:38 PM

Ok, so today I received a new HP41CX after my original one bought in 1984 was stolen a couple years ago. I’ve noticed something very strange I hadn’t noticed before. ——> CAT 2 on my 1980 HP41C lists the modules and all their built-in functions whereas the HP41CX lists only the Module names without the functions.
Does anyone know why?? Is it supposed to be like that or is there something wrong with the machine I received? I had never paid attention to that before, or maybe I just don’t remember...

Thanks

Sure. That's because it's a 41CX, not a 41C or CV.

When the name of the desired module appears, press [R/S]. Now press [ENTER]...

Oh, right. Since my Fullnut CX was stolen some years ago, I must have forgotten all this over time. I’m glad I bought this one to replace it. Although, for some reason, my tall-key 41C feels different in my hand, its a bit heavier. Yes, it feels heavier and smoother and, I don’t know how to put it... better manufactured...? Sounds crazy huh? Smile

Well, thank you very much for the info. Smile
